The 127 in 127 Fit/Fitness is a reference to the Bible verse, James 1:27, which states, Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans (fatherless) and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.  (NKJV)

Fitness. – We fitness.

Thoughts. – We share thoughts.

Life. – We live life fully.

Vision Statement:

127 Fit/Fitness exists to help the hurting.  Specifically, to help those hurting youth who are without a father.  Our focus is to teach, mentor, and lead fatherless youth through the gift of physical fitness.  We have all been given a gift to give.  Until our final breath, we will relentlessly strive to pass on our gift of physical fitness to the next generation.

Be Someone to Follow:

Be a leader.  Be an example.  Be the leader.  Be the example.  Be someone to follow.  Each day.  Every day.  No matter what.  The youth are watching.  Observing.  Imitating.  We need to be better.  Stronger.  Kinder.  We live fearlessly.  Boldly.  Relentlessly.  Passionately.  We need to live in love.  We need to live in service.  We need to live in community.  It’s not about us.  It’s about others.  We dream.  We wander.  We explore.  We discover.  We learn.  We live.  We teach.  We model.  We fail.  We succeed.  We pass on.  Our days are short.  Our days are numbered.  Be someone to follow.

Podcast:

The 127 Fit Podcast is a platform for individuals within the health and fitness community to be able to share their story, that those who listen would be positively impacted.  Each of us has a unique life/fitness story.  At 127 Fit/Fitness, we firmly believe in the power of an individual’s story!  You never know when your story is shared, how it may impact someone who hears it!  We all have ups and downs in life, sometimes, we just simply need to know that someone else has gone through, or is going through something similar to us.  The podcast is also an opportunity to connect, interact, and build life-long relationships with those of us who are passionate about health and fitness!
