Remove yourself from your feelings and emotions. Step outside of yourself in order to think, see, and hear clearly. Too often, we are lost in ourselves. Lost in our feelings, emotions, anxieties, fears, and sorrows. Too often, we can’t get past the inner self, in order to accomplish the tasks to reach our full potential. We need to detach. We need to learn to detach. We need to learn to let go. We need to understand that mistakes, mishaps, and failure are all a part of the life process. Never to be avoided, but mistakes, mishaps, and failure should be expected, accepted, and learned from. You are not perfect. You will never be perfect in this life. Perfection and the pursuit of, is myth. Unattainable. Do not strive for perfection. Rather, strive for growth. Strive for maturity. Strive to become a better you, TODAY!
This is what is inside of me right now. Deep within. Deep within my soul, my spirit, my inner man. It’s brewing. It’s burning. It’s been brewing. It’s been burning. I can’t ignore it. I don’t want to ignore it. I know it is who I am. I know it is what I am. I know this is how I am to live my life. I know this is the path I am to take. I have to wait patiently. I have to wait for the right time. I have to allow life to unfold. The burning inside of me is to live as lowly, simply, and minimally as possible. To physically train as a man possessed. And finally, to help in whatever capacity possible, hurting, Fatherless youth. This is it. This is what is inside of me. The fire burning so intensely.
I want to live in a routine. I naturally want to live a life of comfort. Knowing always what is next. My mind wants routine. My mind fights to remain comfortable. The natural mind will do everything in its power to protect you, protect itself. To preserve. The natural mind will lead you astray. The natural mind will lead you to a dead-end. The natural mind will eventually destroy you. You control your mind. You fight your mind. If so, you WILL win.
What do I need, not, what do I want. What do others need, not, what do they want. This is all the difference. You live for needs, not wants. You live a life of delayed-gratification. You put the needs of others ahead of your own, sometimes, not all the time. You learn the art and beauty of self-discipline. You grow, mature, and become better. Doors of opportunity open. You are prepared, ready to walk through these doors, the open doors. You walk through, life unfolds, happenings occur. As it will, as it should. You are stepping into your calling, your destiny, the dreams planted deep within. You are becoming the individual you were created to become.

There are so many hurting kids in this world. So many kids who are crying out for help. Crying out for love. Crying out for a listening ear. There are so many kids in this world who are Fatherless, orphaned, hopeless, desperate, and lost. There are so many kids who are just simply, confused. Trying to grab a hold of their place, their purpose, their meaning within this life. We live in a country, here in the United States, where kids are worshiped, and yet, at the same time, so many of our youth are left for dead. There is such a dichotomy. We strongly support, with our words at least, education, protection, and health for our kids. But what about our actions? What are we actually doing for our kids? For our youth? Is it truly helping them? We think we know, but do we? What about the neighbor kids? What about the other kids at your son or daughter’s school? What about the kids on the American Indian Reservations? What about the youth in America’s inner-city? The kids held captive within the sex-trade industry? The kids in the hands of the government? The kids who are literally starving to death at this very moment, around the world, in Africa, India, Russia, and in the apartment next to yours? Many of us are blind. We have become blind. We can only see our selves. Our needs, our wants, our comforts, our kids, our families. We are blind to reality. The reality that this life is not all about us getting ours. We are blind to the reality of the pain and hurt of others, of those around us. We are blind to the kids, the youth, who are crying out for help. My heart continues to burn to be one who is reaching out to help. My conscious continues to poke and prod. My soul continues to scream, “WAKE UP!” “LOOK AROUND!” There are so many kids hurting. Helpless. Hopeless. Wandering. I cannot ignore their plight, nor do I want to, or try to. It is indeed time for us all to WAKE UP! It is past time, for us all to open up our eyes. To stop talking, and start doing! It is time to realize this life is not just about you, your kids, your family, but this life is about service to others. Reaching out to others and loving others. It is time we humble ourselves, let go of ourselves, and begin to lead our next generations out of the pit of despair and into the light of hope. Today is the day we begin to help, teach, lead, mentor, and inspire the kids, the youth, of the nations.
The greatest resistance in my life is fear. The greatest enemy in my life is fear. The greatest obstacle in my life is fear. The greatest opportunity for me each day, is overcoming my fear. Fear is real. Fear isn’t real. It all depends on how you perceive fear. How you accept fear into your life. How you respond to fear. Fear is natural. I don’t care who you are, how crazy or hard you think you are, you have fear. We all have fear. We all struggle with fears. Take a step back though, and think about the reality of fear. What is the reality of fear? Why do we fear? Why do we allow fear to hinder our lives? Why do we allow fear to prevent us from reaching our full human potential? Why do we allow fear to consume us? Why do we allow fear to destroy us? Fear can be overcome. How? Fear is simply a figment within our mind, within our imagination. Essentially, within our minds, we make fear up. We allow this figment to effect our being, our existence. We allow fear to grab ahold of our mind, heart, and soul. We allow fear to take root within us. And once we allow fear in, it is an absolute cancer. BUT, FEAR CAN BE DEFEATED! Fear is an invisible enemy that CAN BE CONQUERED! What does it take? It takes willingness. A willingness to let go. A willingness to let go of fear! Fear can become a comfort for some. A crutch. An excuse. People let fear be their reason they never become who they know they should be come. They are comfortable with underachieving, comfortable with a life unfulfilled, comfortable with a life wasted. Fear is the reason. Fear is the crutch. The excuse. You have to be willing. Willing to let go of the comfort, the crutch, the excuse. You have to be willing to step into the uncomfortable. Be willing to step into the unknown. Be willing to step into failure. Be willing to step into success. You have to be willing to fulfill your purpose, your destiny, your calling within this life. You have to be willing to let go of yourself. Your ego, your pride, your arrogance. Fear flees when an individual attacks. When an individual takes a stand. When an individual accepts humility and refuses to give in to their fear any longer. Fear is defeated, conquered when we let go, and leap into the fire.
